Research Notes

Help local readers judge the enterprise, its offerings, and partnership possibilities. This article explores the relationship between content, design, and use, offering a judgment framework applicable to project discussions.

Identify what your audience already knows.

Names, industry terminology, and cultural references familiar domestically may require explanation abroad. Map your target audience's background first, then decide what content to include.

Use concrete facts to build understanding.

Product applications, service workflows, team credentials, and project examples help readers judge capability. Cultural narrative and business information should reinforce each other, not substitute.

Establish local entry points.

Contact methods, document downloads, language options, and service scope should suit local use. After design completion, clarify who maintains the market version.

Bringing it into project discussions

  • Language: Are names, terminology, tone, and number formats consistent?
  • Context: Can readers understand the product, company, and partnership approach?
  • Delivery: Are typefaces, images, files, and update methods suited to local use?

Bring these questions to real materials and use cases, recording the current version, the rationale for changes and feedback from use. When every adjustment has a clear basis, the team can keep applying these judgments in future work.
