The Shape Water Remembers
Everyday Ritual & Reflection
About this study
Mist rests on the lower half of an oval mirror. Folded sea-green glass supports it and guides water into a shallow pewter dish. An ivory porcelain ribbon lies on burgundy stone, while cool window light and ripples turn ordinary grooming objects into an intimate ritual without a figure.
Water, everyday ritual and uncanny intimacy inform a fogged mirror, folded glass, pewter dish and porcelain ribbon. The original modular well of porcelain and plastic is replaced in an AI-assisted sculptural still life.
