A Pattern on a Journey
From Glyph to Object
About this study
Curled seed, reed, ripple and triangular pause form an original set of gestures, changing scale across a moss-green cloth envelope, ivory folded map, ochre sleeve and blue-grey swatch. A carved printing block makes the process visible, turning a graphic language into a portable botanical field-note concept.
Repeating lines and their relationship to real surfaces become new botanical and water-derived glyphs, extended across cloth, paper and a printing block. Reference emblems, cultural motifs and display windows are replaced through AI-assisted generation.
