The Delta Remembers

Terrain & Constructed Order

About this study

An imagined saltland seen directly from above brings branching indigo tidal channels into contact with diagonal water basins. Jade, slate and a dry fractured bed suggest different moments in time. Rust-coloured banks and sparse vegetation let constructed boundaries slowly return to the terrain.

Aerial scale and the tension between repeated infrastructure and land inform a fictional tidal saltland, offset basins and erosion patterns. The solar mirror field, tower and farmland composition are replaced. An AI-assisted environmental image study, rather than a record of an actual site.
