A Day Folded Twice

Everyday Life in Pencil

About this study

A sea-green tram, rooftop laundry and a plate of tangerines overlap along diagonal folds, as though one sheet of paper could hold several everyday moments. Handrails, washing line and curled peel echo one another, while coloured-pencil grain connects observations at different scales.

Layered pencil, everyday observation and simultaneous scenes inform a new folded narrative of tram, rooftop and kitchen table. Reference figures and digital windows are replaced in an independent AI-assisted drawing.
