About this study
OPEN and FORM meet at contrasting widths and heights. Incisions in the navy letterforms draw blank paper into their strokes. A vermilion line passes through a counter, balanced by an orange ink patch and tactile paper grain, letting reading emerge between shapes.
The tension between legibility and letters as image becomes a new word pair, cut strokes and navy palette. Screenprint grain gives an independent typographic composition physical texture through AI-assisted generation.
