Project overview
A Diluted Brand Image
During major shopping festivals such as 618 and Double 11, every brand is shouting. Traffic drowns in a flood of look-alike discounts and visuals, and users become visually numb to promotions. SPARKLE TECH needed to launch across more than 10 channels at once, and a conventional design approach could not keep the visuals consistent.

Key Challenges
Diagnosing the Core Challenges
Information Overload
Every brand is shouting. Traffic drowns in a flood of look-alike discounts, and users become visually numb to promotions.
Fragmented Channels
The campaign had to launch simultaneously across 10+ channels, including Tmall, Douyin, retail stores, the official website and private community channels. Keeping the visuals consistent across all of them was difficult.
Aesthetics vs. Promotion
How could the campaign emphasize deep discounts without compromising SPARKLE TECH’s premium aesthetic as a tech lifestyle brand?

Data-Driven Insights
Research into How Users Scan Visuals
The Qingmei Future team studied how users visually scan content during sales events and uncovered the insight that would let the brand break through.
Research Findings
Through eye-tracking studies and user interviews, we analyzed the browsing behavior of 500+ users during the 618 shopping festival and found that, amid information overload, attention lingers for no more than 0.8 seconds.
Core insight
-
Visual anchors shape perception:In a noisy environment, users remember only one minimal, highly distinctive visual symbol.
-
Consistency drives trust:From Douyin to Tmall, a 100% consistent visual style builds brand trust instantly.
-
Design is the most efficient budget:Investing in one core “visual hammer” delivers a higher return than 100 low-quality banners.
“Create a highly extensible ‘super key visual’ and use a single design language to unify every digital channel, building powerful visual synergy.”

Competitive Advantage
Qingmei Future's Core Strengths
01 — Visual Impact
The Key Visual in Motion
We designed a dynamic “geometric energy flow” symbol (GIF/Lottie animation) that flashes and bursts with energy across Tmall splash ads, compelling users to pause for a second and imprinting the brand message.
02 — Extension Standards
Rigorous Extension Guidelines
The “three colors, three layers, three motions” rule: from WeChat header images to 15-second Douyin videos, every touchpoint uses the same three core colors, the same three-tier information hierarchy and the same motion effects.
03 — Technical Execution
Cross-Channel Implementation
Ensuring designs go live as quickly and perform as efficiently as possible across every medium: size optimization for Tmall banners and Douyin videos, and color calibration for in-store posters.

Timeline
Rollout and Performance Tracking
A carefully orchestrated three-phase rollout, timed so the visual impact lands at exactly the right moment.
Phase 01 · Warm-Up
Building Anticipation
Every channel ran a “teaser” version of the key visual, desaturated to create intrigue and paired with a countdown to steadily build anticipation.
Phase 02 · Launch
Full Visual Takeover
At midnight on June 18, every channel switched simultaneously to the fully saturated, fully animated key visual, with 10+ channels going live in sync to send out a visual shockwave.
Phase 03 · Monitoring
Real-Time Optimization
We tracked direct search volume for the Tmall store and brand website in real time to validate the visual hammer’s impact on brand recall, rapidly refining the media strategy based on the data.

Summary
The Visual Hammer:
Mindshare
This case proves that amid the information overload of major e-commerce sales, visual integration is not optional but essential. By creating a highly extensible “super key visual,” a brand can rise above the noise, claim a place in consumers’ minds and convert efficiently. One design language, unifying every channel, creates powerful visual synergy.
“Amid the noise of promotions, only brands that establish a distinctive ‘visual anchor’ can claim a place in the consumer’s mind. Design is the most efficient budget.”
